Log analysis tools take your web server's log files and turn them into pretty graphs. Some analyze them in highly sophisticated ways; many analyze them very simply.
Strengths: Automatically counts every single page on your site; no need to modify the HTML code on any given page
Weaknesses: You must have access to the log files for your web site. Most require some degree of technical acuity to set up and use. Free log analyzers may have limited capabilities.
